Fragpunk PS5 Release Date: Exclusive Reveal!

FragPunk's release on PS5 has been delayed indefinitely. The game was originally scheduled to launch on March 6, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. However, just a day before the planned release, Bad Guitar Studio announced a last-minute delay for the console versions due to "unexpected technical challenges in optimization and adaptation".

The PC version of FragPunk will still release as planned on March 6, 2025. For the PS5 version, there is currently no new release date announced. The developer has stated that they are working closely with both Xbox and PlayStation teams to release the game on consoles as soon as possible.

To compensate for the delay, Bad Guitar Studio has promised the following for console players:

1. All rewards gained via engagement from the start of Season 1 until the console version launches.
2. $10 worth of in-game currency for those who pre-ordered.
3. Pre-order bonuses will be made available as a limited-time bundle after the console launch.

PS Store pre-orders for FragPunk on PS5 will be cancelled and refunds issued. The developer has assured that they will keep players updated on the new release date and other details as soon as they are finalized.
